Why go

  • You can walk and ride here, which is rare in Uganda’s parks.
  • It sits on the road to Bwindi, so it breaks up the long drive.
  • Good for families and anyone who wants a quieter day.

Worth knowing

  • There are no elephants and no lions here. The park is best for zebra, impala, eland, hippos and birds.
  • Walks and rides go out with a ranger and need to be arranged in advance.
